What the WN movement is sorely lacking is a thorough "catalogue" of ideology as well as a description of how said idelogy could be implemented.   The first joint French-German history textbook has been unveiled in France. But it still deals with some sensitive topics, such as the French Vichy regime which collaborated with the Nazis and Hitler's popularity among Germans.

      Another, even more widely-held notion is that socialism is the ultimate realization of the ideas of the French Revolution. This view, which maintains that democracy necessarily means socialism, that the principles of liberalism necessarily lead to a critique of private property, and the like, aims at giving socialism a respectable parentage, its nonconformism shorn of discordant elements. Today, most are mere curiosities: Feudal socialism, clerical socialism, petty-bourgeois socialism, German or ‘True’ socialism. Only one form retains some modern features: ‘Conservative’, or ‘bourgeois socialism’, which has a kind of echo in the so-called ‘socialism’ of the social-democratic and Labour parties.
